You'll spend more time doing the mounts with the headers in, than you would by pulling out the whole exhaust system and reinstalling it.

i had solid. Then i got a BMR kmember and was forced to go poly since that's the only way you can do it with the kmember (without fabrication/motor plates/other stuff). I would go back to solid if i could, but there is not TOO much of a difference.

The unibody flexing won't have anything to do with the motor mounts bolted to the K-member. I think you need to get some SFC's regardless, I could really feel a difference when mine went on.

I voted poly/poly because it's what I have.
It went from wheel hop to smooth as butter. Well, the launch is smooth as butter but I kinda shake in my seat. Chicks dig the vibrator seats!

I have solid motor mounts, and a 1LE trans mount. I had the prothane trans mount, and it was rediculous inside the car. I am going to use the 1LE till it breaks, then re-install the poly. With the solids, it's not too bad, but you can feel it.
I'm pretty sure most of mine is clutch chatter.

I had way too much vibration with a poly tranny mount so I switched back to stock on the tranny. Poly engine mounts are great - no noticeable vibration and much firmer engine mount (no longer banging the Y-pipe).
Poly motor mounts are so firm that I don't see any reason to use solid.
