Default switching front and rear o2's?

well i just put on my coated LT's and I think I ruined my front o2 sensors from the coating. i was wondering if i could put on my rear o2s from my stock exhaust where these are. they are the same thing arent they? thanks

thanks for the quick response, i need to try that and see if it runs better. it runs like complete garbage right now. it revs up to 3k sometimes, and doesnt come back down, and it breaks up pretty bad 2. I will have to try this this weekend. I think its also trying to adjust to the cold. since it only gets driven in weather above 50 or so, im guessing this 10-20 degree weather isnt making the car to happy. If its not my o2's ill be lookin into plugs next. I just dont feel like taking them out.

Did you put the headers in with the plugs in place? When you say "breaks up", it makes me think of a cracked plug.

Have you driven the car much? It will probably get much better after you put some miles on it.

yeah, i did do it with the plugs in place, but i thought i was carefull enough not to even touch the plugs. who knows. Ive only driven the car about 15 miles. I probably wont drive it again untill the middle of april, due to salt on the roads, and i dont want to wash it again. It just seems like its gotten worse since the first time I drove it. right now im also running an open y-pipe. plugs are cheap enough, i just am not looking forward to that passenger side. I figured it could be the plugs from reading other posts, but i also thought it could possibly be the sensors, because i have read that they foul out quick once u put coated headers on.

I wouldn't bet on the O2's being messed up from the coating, I'd look elsewhere.

The plugs are pretty easy with LT's. I remove my rear 2 coil packs on the passenger side, and do the #2 #4 and #6 from the top. You can get #8 from the bottom easy as pie, just watch out for the heat shield, people have bled to death under their cars from those bastards.

Driver side is cake.

What's thrust? Forgive my ignorance lol.

They are pretty resiliant, so it probably burned it off. Do you have a friend with an LS1 car? You can run his O2's to diagnose, so that way you don't have to waste money chasing a problem.

thanks again, i got around to changing the plugs and the back one on the drivers side was the culprit, HUGE split in it. Just glad I dont have to do the passenger side.
