Default 85mm PP throttle body

Does any body have the PP (professional Products) throttle body I have the 85mm. After I installed it on my car the throttle plates only open about 85% when useing the gas pedal.
Just wondering if anyone has the same t/b and problem

I have the same TB, not yet installed though. It came with two throttle cams. Did you install the correct one for your car? If you have a 98-99 it uses the smaller cam. 00-02 use the larger cam. You CAN interchange the cams, but you have to replace your thottle cable to do it. If you have a newer model car and use the smaller cam without changing the cabe, you're not going to get full throttle.

Does it have a spot for grinding? Like the bump stop area maybe?

Damn, I totally may have figured out your issue. On the side of the intake where your throttle cam is, see if the cam hits the PCV tube coming out of the intake. My friend had the same problem on his '00 Formula and he had to cut a notch off the top of the cam so it would hit full throttle.

It's not hitting anything, when the pedal is pressed all the way down the throttle plate isnt open all the way, but you can open it all the way with your hand from the t/b

If it were me, I would grind the bolt holes on the throttle bracket to slide it back a bit and see if that helped any. Also, did you use the spacer plate that came with the TB? If not, that might account for the difference.

Spacer (adapter) is only to be used if you are adapting the 85mm TB to an intake with smaller TB opening (such as stock LS6) it's not a spacer - it's an adapter.

If you buy the Typhoon 85mm intake - no need for the adapter with their 85mm TB.

just take the throttle cable bracket off and move it forward and use one bolt to attach the rear of the bracket to the intake manifold. use the 2nd bolt hole on the IM closest to the TB and the rear hole on the throttle cable bracket.
