How many LS6 Intakes??

How many different castings of the LS6 Intake Manifold are there? The reason I ask is because I have an opportunity to buy one really cheap, but the seller can't read the part #......

So if I buy it I want to know it will work...

Any Help is appreciated!!!

Get a pic of the underside, thats the determinant if it is or it isnt, I see no EGR provision that should be a sign as well..

That looks like an LS6. Post a pic of the underside. Curved underside = LS1 Flat underside = LS6

All of the ls1 intakes had egr, so its definitely not a ls1 intake, it looks like a ls6 to me

No Corvette LS1 manifolds did not have EGR.

AFAIK if the p/n is on the driver side it is a LS6. If the p/n is on the passenger side it is a LS1.

The seller said it was from an LS6 Corvette, it had 14,000 miles, but he put in a bigger engine.....

So do you guys think it will work??

Yeah i've been e-mailing him for a while about it and he decided to put it up on there I guess......That sucks. I might still try to buy it though who knows. I just hope that it will work...

Yup.. as usual.. wait until the last 5 min and bam !.. it jump up almost $100 !.. And I didn't even waste my time trying for it.. LOL..

It ended up going for the usual... $300-350 range... $325.00 + shipping..

look at the underside if its FLAT its an LS6

Those are all the LS6 intakes for the F and Y cars. If it is one of those P/N's it is an LS6.

The LS1 vettes didn't have EGR.

There is no telling how many people have been ripped off on ebay because the seller sold them an vette LS1 intake.

It almost happened to me but I read about it on here and made up a BS story to the seller to get my big pulled.

Ehh. I got my bid pulled but there were plenty of replies at the bottom of the intake saying it wasn't an LS6 intake. Those are what made me get on here.

I don't even think it wound up selling.

But thats just one auction. I'm talking about the ones that don't show a pic of the underside and people just click "buy it now".
