How will cats affect my duals?

Doing some duals here very soon. What kind of differances in sound/performance will cats have vs no cats?

I do have LTs

They will quiet the sound a little. It will be less raspy with cats. They don't cost a lot of hp, so I would def run cats.

I have no cats and it is definitely loud but not real raspy...the way I like it. I would like to hear some sound clips of cats on a true dual set up. I might have to weld in some high flow cats soon because loud exhaust is like a magnet for cops around here.

It will quiet it down but not by much. Out the back duals arent too loud anyway, well at least mine arent with spiral flows. I think the cops like my cars sound because I pull up next to them rumbling and I never have been stopped yet.

suprisingly, i havent either (since the cam/gears/lts etc...) i have been followed a few times but never stopped or bothered really. knock on wood.

You are so lucky. I use to drive around with my cut out open all the time when I had my stock motor and the cops never even looked. Now with the cam and the duals I get followed and some times they even flip there lights on at me and point. I guess there just telling me there watching me. This is why I think I might run cats on my set up...IF WE COULD GET A SOUND CLIP!!
