New exhaust on today......

New exhaust on today...... I've been thinking about going with the mufflers right off of the collectors and then a turndown for quite awhile. Decided today to go get it done....and wow, it's loud. Not to bad compared to my 3" X-pipe and single chamber flows I had, but under throttle.....it's LOUD!!! Have no idea what kind of mufflers these are, just told the guy I wanted this to be cheap incase I didn't like it. So $100 bill later, this is what I have. I do like it, and it's definatly got that "drag car" sound. Probably way to loud for most people's taste, but, perfect for my car. The way I look at it is I've gained some ground clearance, easier to work under car, lost alot of weight, and gained some intimidation factor.....lol. Here's some pictures of them. Sorry the underside of my car is not spotless.....

Haha, yea it's loud. Not too bad at idle or around town..........errr, it's loud all the time, but it gets real bad under WOT or even part throttle. Don't sound too bad though, just feel sorry for the cars I pass on the highway......lol.

that looks like its VERY loud..... i've been there before my man and i will take the semi-quiet turbo set-up or my CORSA exhaust system i had when i was N/A. but i hope you love it bro

Yea, it's definatly a love or hate thing. But the car is like 90% track only and if it's lucky gets started twice a week. If it was my DD.....NOOOOO. Way too loud, but as much of a pain-in-the-@ss the car is anyways, it's not that bad. I would like to get a vid, a buddy of mine (JunkyardZ) has a camera to do it, I'll see if I can get him to post one.

Chris, I might make it to Pokey this week, not sure. But you could always come to J-town to check out the new apt. and get some vids of this beasssst. I havn't heard it either, and we can get some sounds for these guys.
Haha, those look like the Dynomax Bullets I have... I have that exact same setup. (But I haven't been able to drive the car yet or start it with just bullets off of the headers
