Default Pacesetter y pipe or TSP ory pipe??

Im getting pacesetter longtubes for my new z. ive had pacesetters on 3 of my ls1 cars now and i will not run another header. the fitment and quality is top notch, not to mention the price is unbeatable. anyway, Ive had the pacesetter y pipe before. The fitment couldve been better but the flattened part of the drivers side pipe sure helped ground clearance. How is the fitment and ground clearance of the TSP ory pipe? i know the ground clearance will be worse then the pacesetter y pipe due to the pipe being all 3" and no flattened part on the drivers side. I do like the fact that the TSP ory pipe is adjustable though. I am not lowered now but I will be in the future. Id like to hear some experiences and opinions on the TSP ory pipe please. Thanks

TSP is better(decent clearance) but mufflex is best if your not going to be lowered.(less clearance than TSP b/c of flowmaster merge.)

My TSP ORY had ground clearance issues. The ubolts were way too long. I heard Pacesetter ypipes suck, that's why I originally went with TSP. Why do the suck, I have no idea.

I have the Pacesetter y pipe but haven't istalled it yet. I am not too thrilled with the crushed part of the tubes but now that I hear of the problems with the TSP I guess I know why they do it.

Doesn't sound like either choice is all that great.

I've got the TSP ORY and i'm lowered a little over two inches. Its all in how you set the Y-Pipe up, it is adjustable because in comes in about 4-5 peices and you just fit it how you want. I put different exhaust clamps on that allow for better clearance. I also have no banging at all. No complaints works great.

Actually, different clamps would solve the ground clearance problems w/ TSP ORY.

I have the TSP ORY.

GREAT clearance but the fitment sucks.

I don't drag the ground at all. However, my ypipe bangs the floorboard.
I put a little bump stopper in there and now it doesn't bang.

But, my main complaint was that the fitment sucks. I had to hack it all to peices and weld it for it to fit.

What about the Hooker Y-pipe. I am in the same boat right now as to which one to purchase and have heard nothing but bad things about the pacesetter and now the TSP. I am going with Hooker headers so how is their Y-pipe?

I've got the TSP ORY and yes, the ground clearance does suck on it! It is the lowest part on my car right now. I tried turning the U bolts sideways to get them higher, and they still hit badly and I have to be careful when I take it to the carwash, It sometimes gets caught on their track. As for the fitment, I didn't have a problem with it, other than the fact that it hits right under my driverside floorboard. A little piece of Radiator hose took care of that problem for me!

I have the TSP Y-Pipe and the ground clearance is great. But it bangs on the floorboard under any kinda of acceleration at all. Its soooo annoying.
