I didn't have any problems on my 02 z, I installed them in an oil pit though. The only issue I had was with the y-pipe. This was about 3 years ago.

I have had them on 2 ss and had no problems with fitment as far as the headers go have fun with the y pipe. geting it too tuck up and not hit the under side of the car is a seriouse pain in the ***. It took me a bunch of times adjusting it before i was happy with it. I have there headers and ory with a magnaflow catback and it sounds damn good. loud but doesnt drone. It is a little raspy. Definetly loud as hell at wot.

I will have the same exact setup ^. I highly recommend a poly driver side mount. It's a little pain, you have to remove it and cut the rivet type thing out then put two bolts through the mount bracket if I remember right. Helps a ton man. I did my Jethots on big jackstands with a SUV floor jack. Probably would have helped to jack up the the rear and support with stands. They slid right in from underneath and a friend threaded the bolts in up top. You'll need front 02 extensions, stainless steel band clamps work good (3). I would recommend OE manifold gaskets. Good time to put in new spark plugs. Probably easier to do with the plugs removed. I plan to go to a local tuner and have the rear 02's turned off as well as AIR and EGR, which I'll use block offs until I get the LS6 intake.

On a side note, I just installed Dynatechs, no messing with anything, just removed the oil plug and filter and fit perfect!

I only had problems with having to grind the passenger's side K-member. I had to do this on my brother's car too. No big deal though. Might have to pull the steering shaft, might not. Take your time on the Y-pipe.

I have a chassis mount TQ arm and the 4" outlet does not clear very well. I need to come up with another one.

I was running mine with a wide open borla setup, loud as hell. I ended up taking it to a muffler shop to take care of my y-pipe woes, other than that the headers were fine. I had about a 1 1/2 drop on it with qa1 adjustables.

I gave up... I bought em from a guy that said he totaled his car a week before he was ganna put em in...
I got down to doing it, had everything off, changed the spark plugs and jacked the car all the way up... WAS NOT GOING IN!
Looked like the motor would have to be lifted out and I would need at least a couple of guys helping' me out.
Ended up dropping it off at a shop where they lifted the motor and had it done in 12 hours.
I read on here about fitment issues and that QTP gave people their money back or something...
BTW- 3 in collectors 1 7/8 primaries

12 hours? My friend and I did my Jethots in 3 or 4. I have a hard time believing the QTP's have a fitment issue, they've been in the community for quite some time.

Mine went in like butter compared to the edelbrocks i had. Only thing i hadda do with my drivers side, which has always been tight, is take the oil filter and plug out. they literally slid right in. I already had my other headers off but it pry took me maybe an hour to put these in and torqued....

you probly had the generation 1 QTP headers and everyone bitches about their installation problems but from my knowledge they fixed the fitment problem.
