Question problems after intake swap

I just installed the FAST 90/N.W 90 on my car and when i went to start it up, it revved to 3000 rpm and then wanted to stall. Every time i start it, it goes to right around 3000 and then wants to die and if you play with the throttle a little it will somewhat keep an idle but it is very very rough (engine/tranny shaking like mad) and then will rev itself again to 3000 and repeat. The brake booster line is on so that cant be it. To me it seems like a vacuum leak but i could be wrong and i dont know where it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to tighten down all your botls and make sure that vaccum hose on the back is on there. not the brake bosoter one but that tiny one and make sure you got the TB bolts down good n tight asd well

There are a few to check. Even if those are good.. what is on the other end of them.. are they ok ? better check them. you can try taking off one line at a time and plugging it.

but try checking these:
a) line on front of passenger side Valve cover to T/B
b) PCV valve and line from rear driver side to the passenger side and then to the front near the T/B.
c) Brake / Booster line.
d) MAP Sensor and the Vacumn line to the passenger side of the MAP
e) Purge Valve on the Driver side of the manifold just before the T/B.

Try to re-tighting the mainfold down to spec in two passes.

Being that no one else has mentioned, did you use the correct valley cover bolts that came with the manifold? If you just left your stock ones in place, they are too long and will crack your intake, giving you the problems your having. Did you also use the bolts that are used for bolting the intake down?

Spray some carb cleaner along the manifold and around the throttle body. That will tell you where the leak is if you have one. Also, did you replace your coolant lines with the ls6 coolant lines?

so i played with the throttle for a while when i started it and it managed to find an idle, i also hooked up EFI Live, at the start it was registering an 11.5 AFR and then it got to 14.6 but you could smell that it was still running really rich. The spark gauge bounces all over the place, but all the other gauges seem to be about normal, it also almost sounds like there is a missfire on the drivers side. It sounds like an arc like when a plug wire isnt on all the way. The car also responds a little slow to the throttle. I also went out and bought some carb cleaner so i will try with that soon.

Well I would go over the install again. Plus check to make sure all your injectors are in snug.

Finally got the car running, the problem was from an incorrect torque wrench, I used a different one and found that the bolts were too loose causing a leak all around the manifold. The car definitely has more power from the mod, im quite impressed.
