Default Would a catback help me much?

I have prc 2.5 heads and the MS3 cam,78mm intake, along with all the other boltons. I am running hooker LT's with an ORP and stock cat back with a 3"x18" bullet muffler. Would I see a gain from a borla cat back or something like that or should I just save my money for something else. Also I am hooking up my nitrous again this spring and i am looking for 550RWHp on spray.

Thanks

yeah, a catback would help... you gotta be able to get that exhaust gas out!

Ya true duals are out, my car is dropped alot. Not sure how much but they would never fit otherwise that is what I would go with.

My Borla Catback was one of the first mods I did, it is still on my car to this day and will never leave. The gains are worth $$ IMO.

if you have all that done, but still a stock catback, its the biggest restriction for now.

for stock a catback wouldnt help much, but for what you have done, you will see lots of gain. Also better sounding..

Try to get true duals though, get a torque arm in order to make it fit.

cutout= cheapest, better flowing that any catback (it will be damn loud though) might net you a 20 RWHP gain w/ what you have done

Stock catback is the worst flowing stock component...you will see gains if you switch to a better catback with less restriction, like Magnaflow. Especially at your power levels.

just save the money while looking stock!!!

buy and have an exhaust dump/cutout welded in before the muffler! also change the factory muffler tips to something you like.

This way your car is quiet when needed and keeps it a sleeper. Then you flip a switch and have a nice rush of hp!!!!

I have a cutout and love it... when I see a cop I either quiet the car down by pressing on the clutch or by flipping a switch and closing the cut out!

Remember I do not still have the factory muffler all I have is an 3"x18" bullet. The only thing in the system that is stock is the piping.

If this is the case, then you will see VERY minimal gains by swapping. You could change your rear end fluid to synthetic and pick up more power.

+1 on the cutout. I have one and I'm happy with it for now.

Read post #11 guys. He's only got the stock I pipe, the muffler is just a bullet. A cutout won't help with flow at this point.
