I have a 160* thermostat, I was wondering if lowing my fan activation temp would lower my coolant temps...
Today it is 90* outside, I just drove 15 minutes in traffic, city driving. My aeroforce scan gauge showed my air intake temp as 115* & my coolant temp @ 212*, my fans are on & functioning fine.
Is this anywhere near normal?

99-02 don't have accurate temp guages. They are dummy guages, and will read the same temp, even though your coolant temp can vary alot. 98s are the only ls1 fbodies that have accurate temp guages.

I dicked up when I had my tune done, I told them that fans came on a stock temps, I think they heard it as make the fans come on @ stock temps.
I have a custom tune from LS1 Edit, can I change the fans with the Predator that came with my car? I've never had it hooked up or used one...
