Default port and polish stock ls6 manifold?

Ok, I tried the search but it seems to be giving trouble today. So, I was wondering how much power I can possibly see gained from port and polishing the stock ls6 intake manifold? I'm already getting the throttle body port and polished this week by Tim. Also, if you guys know anyone that can do this work for a fair price and see results? Another question is, I heard there is a process (I beleive called extrude hone?) where they run a pasty substance through whatever you want "polished and smoothed". Will thise work for this and will I see a gain from that? I dont want to lose power, nor do I want to ruin a perfectly good intake manifold.

you may gain a few HP, find out what people will charge. I know jeremy fomatto would do thos for you and he is in florida- Tampa. I think you could spend your money elsewhere if it is over 200. What are all of the mods you you have done?

its an 01 zo6 with dynatech supermaxx long tubes, breathless intake, magnaflow full exhaust w/no cats and x-pipe, 02-up zo6 cam, diablosport tuner and all the free mods. I'm gonna be ordering the tsp cam kit soon with ms4 so i was just kinda looking around. Can you pm me the phone number or website of that person so I can find out the price? Thanks!

Check out this thread:

Supposed to be good for another 10 rwhp if done right. Cartek and New Era do it. You can't extrude hone the ls6 intake because it is plastic, you can only do that to metal intakes.

It is kinda like polishing a turd...it's hard, but if you have the right tools, it works great
