Default Moroso Spiral Flow...my experience

So, after a lot of research I decided to mount a bullet-style muffler after the y-pipe with a turn down. I had a Spiral Flow installed Friday. At first I was pumped because it sounded nasty at idle, but then I drove the car and it didn't sound as good as I thought it would. It sounded decent up till around 4500rpm, but after that it sounded like *****. Plus it was extremely loud inside the car. I let a friend do a WOT drive by, so I could hear what it sounded like outside the car....*****. I went to the muffler shop today and put my Borla back on. Now I'm happy Maybe they sound better with a true dual setup, but anybody considering putting one after the y-pipe should just stick with a good catback/cutout setup. Just my .02

are you kidding me?...I just put one after the y pipe yesterday(no turndown) and it sounds amazing...inside is quieter than a cutout and outside sounds mean as hell

I ran one dumped and loved the cool snarl when you threw a rev at somebody.

I don't know man, I really didn't like the way it sounded. I can't figure it out, I listened to a bunch of sound clips of them before I bought it and THEY sounded awesome! Mine sounded like poop.

All the true-dual setups running them sounded good IMO. The duals must make the difference.
