Default Just arrived... SLP 2OTL*straight from slp*

I found a 2OTL on SLP’s website a couple of days ago. They had it on clearance for $325. I knew they stopped making these a couple of years ago, so I called customer service to find out why they had one on their site. CS informed me that they found one in the warehouse. Im not sure how you just “find one” after 5 yrs. The pipes are stamped with a 09/02 date. Anyway, I decided to buy it, just in case something ever happened to mine(wreck, muffler goes, ex.). I figured these things are going to get harder to come by as the years go on, specially a OEM that’s never been used. I got really lucky… it does NOT have the “cone of silence”. Im still trying to convince myself that I made a good buy. I now have an exhaust sitting in my garage that may not be used for some time. Hopefully I made the right decision in picking this thing up?

Current setup… 2OTL(20K miles on it)

This arrived today…

NO “cone of silence”… thank god!

Nice straight through flow…

i dont see the big deal.

for that much, you could have had a local muffler shop do you a 2otl with a better sounds muffler

i had 2otl, but i switched to 2 chambered, sounded way better.

i dont justfy the 325 price tag, specially since you already had one.

Nice find. I wish they had a dual/dual setup in stock. I wish I never wouldv'e hacked mine up and traded the muffler. I want my car to be super quiet now and also so it can bolt directly to my CME that I still haven't put on.

looks good, I like the tips on the system but that damn muffler is like 15 pounds. I just had a muffler shop make a custom y-pipe deleting the muffler in my system on my thirdgen, because the car was alittle to quite for my taste but the sound is very tone and deep.

well, if your muffler craps within a month then you will know you made a smart purchase

Ive got that same exhaust. Quiet at idle, No highway drone, and Screams when I put my foot down.
