Of the listed choices I'd say go with the Dual/Dual. It's a really good flowing system and with the new revisions, I hear it sounds quite a bit meaner but nowhere near obnoxious. Sounds good to me!

I have the Ultra flow welded and lost less than 2hp going from my cutout to the muffler on the dyno. I have MAC headers and ORP and it is very quiet. I would not have anything else. Mine is 3" single in and single out.

I am going to be getting a dual-dual pretty soon, its nice and mean sounding at WOT, but for crusing its awesome...I think it will be nice with my FLP LT and ORP setup...

I plan on using a cutout as well...

Isn't the SLP Dual/Dual the exhaust that came on the Firehawk and SS's from Slp for the 335 hp set up??? If it is this exhaust is not very loud and does not provide very much sound over stock at all... A freind of mine has this on his SS and my car is almost twice as loud with just a Dynomax Super Turbo(the 90 dollar muffler) It sounds alot like the SLP exhaust just louder at WOT and idle.. I love the way it sounds and I want to add MAC's headers and no cats or maybe some Hookers w/out cats.... I hope I helped you out some.

I'm also a big fan of the SLP dual/dual. I switched to it from a 3.5" Mufflex, and it quieted down the car a LOT. The Mufflex got too loud for my liking. The SLP dual/dual is the one that comes standard on the Firehawk and optional on the SS. It's definitely quiet. I'm running FLP's with ORP's, and the sound is perfect for me. Many are shocked that I'm not running cats! I made a 750-mile roundtrip a month ago in my SS, and it was a quiet ride the entire trip. I even got pulled over by a state trooper for no front plate, and he never knew that I wasn't running cats. That's a plus considering how much of an *** they can be.
Check the classifieds for a good, used dual/dual. I bought mine with 5,000 miles on it for $208 to my door!

Default Mild exhaust system

I have a 2000 Z28 A4 with the stock exhaust system on it now. I want to do a cat-back, but i don't want alot of drone at 2200-2400 rpm on the interstate as I drive alot. I have considered the SLP dual dual, 2otl, Dynomax Super Turbo, and the Ultra Flow. What are your opinions on how these mufflers sound at speed, I want to be able to carry on a conversation or listen to the radio at 75 mph. Which should I go with?

i appreciate all of the input, i am still pretty torn as to what i will get, but i am kind of leaning towards one of the slp systems since i may add headers later, and i am pretty sure the dynomax or magnaflows would be louder if i were to do that.
