Default Injector Question for our ls1

I was wondering what types of injectors can we use in our Ls1's??

Can we use all ford Motorsports an SVO inj's?
Lucas makes them for ford and chevy or are they both the same?

Don't really know much about the injectors..

As long as they are high impedence injectors, you can use them

Generally anything 50 lb/hr and under is high-Z. Once you get into 55+ they are low-Z and the PCM can't drive them without damage to the PCM and overheating of the injectors.

I run SVO 42's without a problem

So are you telling me that I can run any ford injector or lucas injector as long as it is high
impedence? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Anyone else?

not only can you them and use them, our sponsors sell them for your motoring pleasure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

In the computer forum, there is a table for adjusting the PCM using LS1Edit to work with the Ford and Lucas injectors. The 30lb SVOs are easily tuned with a MAFT if you don't have LS1Edit.

I don't know. Injectors should last a pretty long time. I think when they get old can be fixed up and flow matched to bring up their performance.

Try not to drop them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
