Default Poll: For Pacesetter LT owners satisfied?

Alright pacesetter owners, I'm specifically looking to hear from you. Of course I want to hear if you like it or not, but I'm also breaking it up by options of how long you've had it, to perhaps further get an idea of any issues, if any exist. And lets face it, people that first put something on get all excited (me too) wanting to share their wonderful experience...for their/our whole 3 days we've had them Not too helpful by themselves.

So please take the poll and let me know if you're satisfied or not. I've searched for opinions and pacesetters I gather are great, but I don't know if there are enough high praise comparitively to the whole amount of people that own them to justify getting them as what I think is the poor mans option to QTP, Kooks, or American Racing. (that was just to give you an idea of my thought process, please no comparisons or reccommendations for now)

Also, if you have a problem, lets hear what it is by posting. I realize that may make all the posts negative, but I'll take that into consideration with the proportion of people that post positively in the poll, SO GUYS WITH GOOD EXPERIENCES CHIME IN TOO!

thanks!

Mine are great. But they are still sitting in the box so all I have to go on so far is looks.

get better couplings when you order. and plan on having there Y pipe bang. Your going to need it bent down. If you install the headers do motor mounts while you have the maifolds off. This will save you a ton of time. Summit sells the stainless steal clamps you need for 12 bucks each get 3 with your order. But the headers r real nice. You wil be happy if you know your gonna need to go to a muffler shop and different clamps the ones they give you suck *****. Also your gonna need to get O2 exstections( cant spell).

everything you need is going to cost you a little extra. You dont have to do motor mounts but you should.

50 buck for motor mounts.
50 bucks for 02s.
35 bucks for new clamps.
50 bucks at a muffler shop.

135-185 more dollers for pacesetters installed correctly.

I just got the race style put on today. The passenger side O2 bung was messed up - it didn't have the first thread. I think the coating filled it in or something. They shop couldn't get a tap in the right size, so the grinded it down to a clean thread.

Other than that, the install took about 3.5 hours (not including the extra time to remove and reinstall the passenger header), and they look great.

Currently I'm running open headers until I can get to my exhaust guy, so it's REALLY loud. Hopefully he can get me taken care of tommorrow.

Got mine on a few weeks ago. I did motor mounts while I had it apart too. Overall, installing the headers was a piece of cake. I couldn't be happier with the new power and sound my car has now either.

Had mine only a couple of weeks but love them. Just like other people said, the y-pipe does bang the floor. Buy the coated ones, the black painted ones will just burn the paint off. Other than that very happy with them.

I've had mine since Dec 05, no problems so far (knock wood), decent price, fairly easy install, noticable SOTP performance improvement
Got em coated (cause it's a DD) a few small rust stains but other than that they look fine

I have the race style and ORY. No complaints at all. The quality is on par with much more expensive headers. The fitment is absolutely perfect and the construction is excellent. As for the y pipe banging.... It won't if you install it properly. You cant just bolt it up and be done with it. It takes some adjusting.
