FIPK guys inside...
BUT I want to experiment with it.Here's my thought-
Since I have no front bumper support and no washer reservior,
I was thinking of relocating the filter down in front(kinda like a corvette).Running
a hose around the latch.Don't worry about how I'm going to do it(I haven't quite
figured it out yet)But is there any draw backs to a longer hose?
The thought just popped into my head last night.
What do you guys think?
If it works you can kiss my 'no-hot-air-suckin' ****!

But I am going to grind down the lip on the frame directly in front
of the filter.Maybe then I'll only lose 15rwhp instead of 20. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
P.S. I did track test it,but will not post results.
It will only cause more arguements.
Let's just say the lid IS NOTgoing back on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I felt a little difference and installed and it show up on the dyno (15hp).
Just have to race all the guys with the lid and see <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I am considering selling my FIPK, I was dissapointed with its performance at the Track Saturday, but I dont have a Lid to compare against..
Also have any of you noticed a drop or gain in Fuel economy? my fuel economy sucks on my convertible with this, I drive 80% highway and seem to average 18-19 mpg, and can squeeze out only 20 if I drive ultra conservative.. I do also have the 85mm low cost Gran. MAF, might be that..
