**** I hope my kooks install is easy lol im going to do poly mounts at the same time also so if I have to jack up the motor I will. Any one know a easy way to getting spark plug wires off with out killing your hands? Also do you think its a good idea to use some blue locktite on the header bolts?

some use weaker lock tight to keep the bolts in, i think blue it under that category.

good idea for engine mounts, i did the same thing just recently.

the wires on the drivers side come off fairly easy once you have the air tube out of the way. the passengers side u need to just find a comfortable position to get 6,4,2. number 8 wire and plug get from under the car.

Use only anti-seize on it. I haven't had to retorque anything and I'm running off multiple heat cycles now. That doesn't mean you shouldn't check on the bolts, but I checked anyways, every few days, for a week.

Yeah it was a big PITA, but it is on now thank God. I took a small drive, and when I get on it, the Y-pipe bangs the floor a tad. How did you guys fix this?? I have heard of people putting heater hose or something around it.

take it to a shop and have them weld on one or two custom exhaust hangers attached to the transmission hanger bracket. It should keep the y pipe from banging.

Are these 1 7/8?

My Kooks fit like crap when I had them. The pass side rode the K member and on the drivers side, I had to take both motor mount bolts out and jack the motor as far up as it would go and put it forward as far as it work go and then man handle it.

No, these are the 1 3/4" ones. I couldn't believe how much trouble I had to go through. Especially since they are the "best on the market." On top of that, one of my MSD plug wires was messed up at the boot right out of the box. Plus, one of the band clamps that came with the headers didn't have the bolts needed to put it on.....
