Free Ram Air Mod Question
What should I do next? Air lid or cat-back? I have the b.s. z28 stock exhaust.
Should be the first paying Mod, everyone needs to get... IMO

The lid and the !FRA seems to be the way to go huh? I've cancelled an order for a SLP Loudmouth cat back system (lack of $$$ ). How loud is the loudmouth, obnoxious or does it just have some growl to it?

I did the !FRA the first week I had my car. I did not seal the box so it would only get air from below. A few weeks ago I also raised the airbox with washers. I'm thinking about undoing the !FRA. Someone did some tests, and it turns out that if the car is moving, air coming into the front of the box is just as cool as air coming up from the air dam. The !FRA mod causes the filter to get a nasty stripe on it real quick, and there are lingering (perhaps unfounded) doubts in my mind about getting water in the engine. I met a woman who gets great numbers at the track with a stock lid and airbox raised on washers. Someone told me her car is a "factory freak," but still...

Here is a sound clip website. I prefer the B&B triflo or the Borla systems. exhaust sound clips
