Re: Free Ram Air Mod Question I believe i gained a 10th and 1 mph on a otherwise stock car. I dont see how it could void warranty unless you hydrolocked motor from incoming water into induction(Aint going to happen)

Re: Free Ram Air Mod Question Thanks for the reply. I'm staring to get the "mod bug" since spring rolled in. I started with 273 rwhp stock. All I've done so far is descreen the MAF and put in a K&N filter. I'm up to 296rwhp and 302ft-lb trq. Oh yeah, added the wire loom too.
What should I do next? Air lid or cat-back? I have the b.s. z28 stock exhaust.

Re: Free Ram Air Mod Question I tell you what both the lid and catback are worth about the same in et/mph, so i would do the lid for the money, you could have saved the K+N filter money for something else, it doesnt seem to do any thing . Fully ported throttle body made a huge difference in SOTP feel, i will find out soon what its worth at the track.

Re: Free Ram Air Mod Question I have had the pleasure of hearing loudmouth withstock manifolds and with SLp full length headers no cats.It is acceptable with cats and manifolds(sounds good) but with the other it still sounds good just loud enough to wake the dead!
