which lid has better fit
Most of the times I've seen fitment problems.. it's been do to a couple things. 1) not installed properly (more common than you think). 2) A raised lower airbox. 3) Fernco Mod.
Basically, your going to hear 10 different opinions on each of these lids, everyone will come up with 10 reason why "they're" lid is better. In all truthfullness.. they all are pretty close.. go with the one you like best.
I personnally don't think you can go wrong with ethier of the lids you mentioned.

I won't say what kind it was, because I'm not completely sure. (It's at home and I'm at the office.) The reason I got the brand I did was because it had a fitting for the AIR hose.
Rather than sending the lid back as I probably should have, I spent a lot of time grinding on it with a Drimmel tool and a sand paper block, and filling areas with plastic epoxy. I finally got it flat enough. But after I installed it, I realized that the AIR hose feature was very badly designed. The hose pulled sideways and up in its rubber grommet and tapped against the hood.
I also bought an SLP lid. The seal was much flatter than the other one, but I still filled some low spots and did a little flattening on it. I had to use a separate little filter for the AIR thing, but it turned out that was no biggy. I figured out a way to attach it so it doesn't rub on anything. The SLP lid is the one I'm using. It rubs on the hood a little at one of the front corners, but I have the air box raised with three washers.
