I think someone needs to mill off Weiand and John Lingenfelters name and paint that intake black to look like stock. After getting a good port job that is. I looked at one of those intakes at work yesterday, and there is plenty of aluminum that can be ported out It does weight quite a bit more than the plastic piece. If I get a chance I'll have it weighed Monday.

I heard 24#s - Trev, maybe it's the difference in our scales again. I made the point a while back just dropping one on top of a stockish motor would proably be a net loss since there is no real gain and the weight difference is pretty high. If you're gonna get one, port the hell out of it, big throttle boby and polish the runners - IMO.
Trevor, you have a line lock yet? If not shoot me a note.

I think that when it's ported, to match ported heads, it will make up for the weight difference, no?

I have one coming in through Speed Inc. As soon as it comes in it will get ported by a local shop that polishes and ports things for Tom At Speed Inc. hope it does well with my all bore and 200 shot.
