Default Electric Cutout

Whats a good electric cutout within a reasonable price? I know that the QTP's aren't all that great...one of my friend burned out the motor 3 times. Any suggestions?

The motor in any of them will burn out if you open/close it a lot.

I haven't heard of one that lasts long when people use them alot. But yet I know of a couple people with different brands and they've lasted for years now.

What he said. I love my DMH. It costs less than the QTPs and has 2 years more warranty. And if its gonna burnup I figure it ought to do it within the 3 year warranty period. Just make sure you keep the original block off plate so when and if it ever goes bad you can cap it off while your ECO is being fixed.

It gives two prices, the first for the dmh electric cutout and then the other with the flowtech cutout. Whats the difference?

the "electric cutout" is strictly the motor and butterfly assembly. you will need to buy a cutout (the y-pipe piece, e.g. flowtech) to attach the "electric cutout" to.

Ditto on that,I just replaced my first one. When one of the two go out again, I'm switching brands.
