Finally got the intake on thursday night, took me 6 hours. i ran in to a few fuel leaks including the fuel inlet line coming off and ******* up my black paint job. Friday morning i got up and headed to G-Force for a retune. The car was running pretty bad and would die sometimes when i came to a stop. I was really getting worried about my choice on this intake. i made it there and the guys took notice very quick it was running like ****.
They took off my lid and Maf to drill the hole out in my TB. But i had already done this the night before. He said that the hole was to big (1/4 inch). i told him that the hole that was in my stock TB was to sizes bigger than that. (this cause my car to idel strang before before the intake, and almost impossible to tune it to idel. Thanks to TheBlurLS1 for at least trying.)
Anyway they but it on the dyno and get ready to tune it when my got him scanner to ready the SES codes. Came to find out that the motor was dumbing a **** load of fuel on the driver side and pulling a very little from the other.
He said that he though it was a vacuum leak. so we check over everything to find one but came up with nothing. He said that the O2 could be also fucked. They told me to get some off that car starter **** and spray around the intake looking for leaks. So i went home, did what he said and didnt find one, i then changed the O2 and BLAMO, there was the problem. I have to baby the car on started up because of the tune was trying to over come the bigger hole that was in the old TB. Once it gets ideling right it runs fine. i pull up to the stop sign and it goes to the right idel rpm. One the highway i can fell a gain. car seem to be pulling better from around 5000 and up.
All i did was add the intake and have the TB ported and polished by Smokin87TA (who did a nice job). i wish i would have found the problem before so they could tune it. They would have spent more time fix the proble but they had to got to Fun Ford Weekend to race there shop car for the very first time. I knew about this before i went that morning and they were nice to try to fit me in before they left. I dont have and numbers yet to prove a gain but i can tell the car is running better.

It doesn't rev high anymore, smaller hole in the TB solved that. just idels around 500. I hold it at 950 for like 20 seconds then it lines out. also if I turn on my ac or vents it drags the idel back down. Yea it may come in useful to know to control though larger cams

Had similar idle probs with my Typhoon install, the tuner did tune some of it out. But it still has problems. Here are my dyno numbers https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=typhoon
It still starts slow even after a tune by a top notch tuner.
