Open Headers?

hello guys, does anyoen run open headers on the street? I just put headers on my car, and started it up, its loud, but no out of control loud. IM thinking that bullet mufflers really arent going to quiet the thing down a whole lot. Anyone else running open headers on a street car? Figured I would ask.

I am right now until I get my x-pipe put on & I gotta say, it's pretty rediculous. It's much louder in my M6 car than open headers on my A4 car, probably because the converter slips so much. I pray a cop doesn't drive up behind me until my exhaust system is put on.

yea its pretty insane. drove around with open headers after i messed up installing my duals. probably one of the loudest things ever, and i also had a converter at the time so it would rev higher.

lol, im gonna do it untill i get some new bullet mufflers. I ruined my **** tryign to beat on it to get it to clear the floor pan. Anyhow, open headers it will be untill then. Luckilly the car only gets driven on the weekends

I ran mine to the exhaust shop open it was crazy. I have QTP electric cutouts now and run open for fun some times. Car seems to run bad with open headers. Watch out for the law. I got a nois ticket with flowmasters!!

I run open ALL the time. I got MS4 too. The cops havent said anything yet. But then again we dont drive it everyday.

when you run open do you have any pipe off of the collector i've heard if you don't have about 18" of pipe after the collector it will wreak havok on your 02 sensors
