Catback. Corsa or GMMG?
I want a sound that people will notice at low revs and will wake the dead/give people the shakes at WOT. Since both are about the same in price, cost is really not an issue. Im not considering any other systems so please dont tell me how great Magnaflow is, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Corsa

that's all well and good, but why? most people just for for what they have with little to no explanation behind it. give some reasons, guys! voting for what you have doesn't mean that it's the way to go.
here's my explanation:
GMMG IMO is overrated. it's not very unique at all. on stock manifolds, it sounds almost exactly the same as a cutout. with LT's and a catted-y, it sounds better, and with LT's and an ORY it's pretty raspy. it's not really a special sound - it's deep, it's decently loud and that's about it.
corsa is a very unique sound. it sounds nothing like any other catback out there. not too many people have it, so if you're into having your own unique sound instead of sounding like every other dodge ram pickup on the road, corsa is it (yes, GMMG sounds like a truck motor. some trucks sound very good, and GMMG cars do sound good, but it sounds like any other V8 on the road).
they're both expensive, they're both stainless, and they're both very different from one another.
IMO, all y-pipe setups are garbage, and you should go with true duals. i'll be putting my corsa in the for sale section pretty soon. i'm running it now with an open cutout and it sounds decent, but no y-pipe setup is good enough for me.
if you want the most exotic sound possible, corsa is it. if you want to sound deep like a truck (a good sounding truck, but still a truck), GMMG is it. see sound clip in my signature for a clip of corsa (before my cutout was added).
Not with headers and ory it sure as hell doesn't.....maybe a nice truck.
You can make your own GMMG exhaust with a used LM and some powerpacks for A LOT cheaper and probably sound better.
You can order borla or magnaflow bullet type mufflers and have your exhaust shop do something custom for you.
Its pretty obvious by now that you don't always get what you pay for when it comes to cat back exhaust. More $$$$ doesn't not equal better.

yes, GMMG does give you a truck-like tone. it's one of the deepest exhausts you can get on an f-body. the deeper the exhaust, the more truck-like it sounds IMO. i know when i hear a really deep automobile on the road, i assume it's a truck. again, i'm not saying GMMG sounds bad. it just sounds exactly like a cutout on stock manifolds and it's very raspy with an ORY. it sounds good with LT's and cats, but i don't personally think it's worth spending $850 on. with that kind of money, you can make a custom true dual system where it would sound wayyyyy better. i feel corsa is more worth the $850 price tag because at least with corsa, you get a unique tone that no other catback comes close to producing. GMMG just sounds like every other V8 on the road. nothing else sounds like corsa.
