lol.. i am finishing my motor and i forgott to buy lid!¨

what is the BEST lid, both best for the money, and best for the Hp's

I had SLP but changer to KN FIPK and love it.

almost all of the aftermarket lids produce pretty much the same power according to a dyno flog i seen in a magazine so fitment is pretty much what you want to look for but since they are plastic that can can change from the same manufacturer.i like the looks of the slp lid.

I hear that the new SLP lids are a little bit better quality than the rest, and they seem to have come down in price.

Lids are 99% the same...you can usually find a used SLP lid for pretty cheap.

Get the MTI Transparent Lid really cool looking and you will get tons of comps.

MTI made the most power when GM High Tech Peformance tested them all, but it was like 1 or 2 hp, nothing you will notice.

That article was odd. The MTI lid showed the best MPH at the track, but had some of the lowest comparitive numbers on the dyno (along with the G2 lid). The SLP, TSP, QMP, and Whisper lids all put down numbers ~5hp higher than the MTI.

My slp lid fits on nice and snug, good fitment.
