Default fast intake install question

ok there is a little vaccum line on the back of my LS1 intake, not the brake booster line but the small one on the other side of the map sensor. There isn't a provision on the Fast intake for that line?? it even says in the instructions that came with the intake (and on-line) to connect it back but there isn't a provision....what should I do?? Cap it off??

yes it is the little line that goes under the passenger side! How do you t is off the map sensor? Or do you t it off of the brake booster? They didn't send a t with the intake?

well, I can not fully remeber when I did mine, but any vaccum t should work fine, as for off the brake booster, it is the same it does not matter vac is vac, if you are running a blow off valve, or a boost guage, then the booster is the better place, but for heater controls, no biggie. I do remember that I did not need a t, I think I ran it over to the now deleted air pump supply line.

Look at the kit that comes with the professional products manifold. It has a plastic t that allows you to hook the booster and that line up. Where is the hookup for the booster at? I'm not entirely sure there will be room for the t if it is by the oil pressure sending unit.

I think it is on the passenger side of the manifold almost all the way back about 1 inch from the end maybe.

There was a small nipple on the lower half of the FAST 90 I got, hooked the line to that and no probs. (see pic in post above) Take a look at yours and make sure it didn't break off.

I installed my FAST 90 lastnight and my little vac line plugged right into that nipple you see in the above pic.

Sorry to but what is the tiny silver screw in the pic above for?

Also, is it just me or did you guys have bolts left over also?

the small self tapping screw is for the egr hole above the tb. I had no left over parts, maybe the two bolts your talking about is for something else with egr.
