I have called all over town and no one seems to have the TR55 or know what it is. I refuse to listen to the idiot at Napa who tell me to get the Bosch Platinum 4's because they will last 4 times as long because of the 4 sides. When he said that to me I turned around and walked out. I want either the TR55's or the NGK Iridium ones because thats what every one else uses. Where can I get these plugs???????

Anybody who carries NGK plugs should be able to get them for you. The NGK part number for the TR55 is #3951 and the TR55IX (iridium) is #7164 - maybe they will recognize this instead. If you can't find them locally then several of the sponsors carry them including Thunder Racing: http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...yid=1082#T1314

I got mine at my local NAPA parts store..which I noticed you mentioned something about NAPA in your post. The sales people at the NAPA here seem to be idiots. I just told them what I wanted..didn't tell them what it was for.

$5 bucks apiece? Somebody is making themselves some money under the table!! I got them for $1.19 apiece but that was with my discount. I think they are about $1.50 apiece for regular customers. $5 apiece is crazy.

Down here, any parts store I've been in the last year has NGKs. I usually buy them from Discount Auto Parts, which recently changed names (Duh! can't remember to what).
Be especially carefull you don't ask for replacement plugs -even for NGK- IF- you don't want platinum plugs, 'cause that is what will come up on their computer for replacements.

$1.49 from O'Reilly. Advance Auto Parts had them on their website but not in stock in the store. That's frickin stupid. $13.88 for plugs and anti-seize.

I copied and pasted this right off of their web site. Tell me why NAPA would charge $8.49 each and you all are telling me much cheaper? ![MAD](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_mad.gif)
NGK Spark Plug - Iridium
Usually ships in 24 hours. NGK
7164 $ 8.49
@Gap .050"@
And no, I'm not stupid. I live in a mountainous region and there are only (2) parts stores within 40 miles of me and I had to get plugs at the time, so I had no choice.
