Default HELP!! Stock throttle body????

I got a 98 Z28 (stock) and just bought a ported stock throttle body for it off a board member. Put it on and the car idle screams. I noticed that between both throttle bodies thats where the cable hooks on one is bigger then the other. The new throttle body on is bigger... And solutions????

The plate on the side of the throttle body where the cable hooks to. The plate on the new throttle body is bigger than the plate on the one I took off my car.

You should be able to adjust it. Look farther up on the throttle cable and you should see a junction or a box the cable goes into.

i beleive the cams were diffrent between these throttle bodies. You should be able to swap out the entire insides if that is the problem. i know that the throttle bodies were diffrent between an 98 and an 02. Swap the guts and it should work

Well I got the cable adjusted to that when I start it it idles fine but as soon as I hit the gas the idle goes right up and stays. It has something to do with either the cruise control or the asr. Are they combined?? Cause when I unplug the unit that the first cable goes through the asr light comes on???
