somthing every 98 ls1 owner should do....
I wouldn't touch them unless your car shows obvious signs of power loss either on a dyno or at the track.

but i was also told it plugs in to the engine harness.
so to the ones who have done this was it a plug in or did you cut the old off and wire up the new one?

Yeah, mine was honestly a late build, so i have to say, i don't think there are a ton of 98's with the new ones, mine was built in 07/98! Went to SLP in Mid July

Any estimate of early vs late run dates? As I am just about to do an intake swap I should check my date code. Should I take mid 97? Or would a late run be in early 98? Thanks
