Default Who makes perimeter bolt to center bolt valve cover adapters.

I am doing a heads and cam job on a buddy's 98' Corvette. Last night I realized he purchased centerbolt heads for a perimeter bolt car. I know I have seen an adapter to put the perimeter bolt stuff on a center bolt head. Does any one know where I can get it? I don't want him to have to purchase valve covers, coils, and a PVC system.

If you have the center bolt heads you'll need the valve covers, brackets and bolts. Alternatively you could relocate the coils but you will still need the 8 bolts with the rubber seals for the valve covers themselves.

What exactly are you trying to do to the PCV system? The center bolt covers should have similar port placement for all the hoses. Shouldn't take too much modification to make it work.

I think that the issue is with the fact that the center bolt cover (passenger side) only has one air outlet to feed the throttle body , and not one near the back of the engine for the pcv.

Please see the attached pictures.

The OP Pray has a 1998 vehicle that has perimeter bolt heads.

His question is how to adapt later center bolt valve covers to the earlier perimeter bolt heads.

So you are trying to put center-bolt valve covers on perimeter-bold heads? Pretty sure it can't be done...

When you upgraded the heads on your 98, what all did
you have to do with regards to the 98 pcv?

I just used center bolt-valve covers. As long as the passenger-side valve cover has a front and back PVC input you can make it work.

The big question here is this:

Do 97 & 98 LS heads have these threaded bosses for the center bolts? OP should be able to answer this. If the answer is no, then no, centerbolt valve covers cannot be used on perimeter bolt heads.

The Calgary guy is asking about the PVC stuff. Perimeter-bolt valve covers definitely don't work on center-bolt heads.

Ugh..not enough coffee before I posted. What I really want to know is
if there are center bolt heads that have the perimeter bolt valve cover
style PVC provisions. With the two connections for the 98 style PCV/
throttle body air supply as pictured.

I'm looking to avoid upgrading my PCV is what I'm getting at as I'm
running a Mike Norris catch can inline which is working perfectly.
Any money saved will be a bonus if I don't have to upgrade in that
dept.

My question is a little different than OP's Thanks to anyone who has chimed in so far.

I have one of Mightymouse's cans on my 98. I bought a cheap metal oil fill cap and put a fitting into it for the fresh air inlet and ran mine like this.

No. Those threaded holes are not there on my perimeter bolt heads.

Also, the valve cover gasket shape of the perimeter bolt heads is very different than the center bolt heads.

I bought center bolt valve covers off a truck, I have no idea what truck. The passenger side valve cover has two ports, the driver side has one port. I have no idea what they came off, I picked out two valve covers from a box which had about 20 valve covers in it, and I bought those two as mix and match.

For the $20-$30 typical price for a pair of center bolt valve covers I can't imagine any kind of adapter will be cheaper than used parts.

I'm certain there is another way of routing your hoses if you have a Mike Norris catch can... see if any of these diagrams help:
