Default pacesetter lt coatings

i am hearing that i should go with stainless lts over the pacesetter coated lts. they say the coating comes off. has anyone ever had an issue with it? how long does the coating last? i think the coating would keep it cooler under the hood better than stainless, right? give me your opinions and the best place for the best deal on which ever one you think. thanks guys.
also i hear pacesetter has great ground clearance.

yes coating can come off, but it needs some help, corrossive envirnment is one of the biggest contributers, zero mantainance is the other, like living near salt water, but let me ask is this a DD, daily driver?
if not then I would not worry to much, as far as under hood temps, I would think the differnece is minimal, may be 10-12 degrees if that, by experence I have seen my car N/A with the pacessetters running not noticable less than a kooks equiped FI car, both temps under the hood are hot. any other chime ins here??

I got my pacesetter LTs used over a year ago and I live in hawaii.

No coating as come off yet.

If you live up north where they spray salt then you would probably have more problems with DD.

It can come off over time, but if you are worried I would go stainless.

My car sits in the driveway 90% of the time. Not a DD and Ive got the coated pacesetters. I have the car in the air for some stuff and see the coating flaking off in places, mostly where the tubes come together and bend towards the rear, and rust is forming. Im about to search for something to spray them w/ so the process will slow down. <5k miles on the headers.

mine just have some surface rust on them, once they begine to start flaking i'll probably just poweder coat them. i dont know if i'll powder coat them black or white, if i remember correctly black is better for under hood becuase of heat attraction... something like that
