i cannot find a write up on porting and polishing a ls1 tb for the life of me! can someone post a link to help me get started?

I would tell you to do a search, but the wonderful search on my favorite website has been crap for the past month, and i't driving me crazy, I ported my own and a good write up for it is on here soemwhere, my recommendation is keep looking page by page til you come across one, i don't think there's one on ls1howto.com but you could check.

 

i have been looking for an hour now and still cannot find one! its pissing me off and taking away time from the car!

 

what exactly do you need to know.....ive ported them for a while

 

......how to do it? What tools specifically to use and what techniques will yield the best reults?.....maybe also steps on polishing them......

3 types of dremel bits...heavy medium and a buffer....

the lip right before the blade, you want to get rid of, you want to also buff down the edges on the sensor intakes.....keep the whole lip even....

these are of about half done with mine....
