I was thinking about some Magnaflow cats? What are your opinoins?

A clean shaven mid 20's pink cat is the best cat... wait this isn't the washer thread..

catco cats, if you're looking for another one. I believe they are the same as the magnaflow and a little cheaper to boot.

lol, at idle with the cam the car's exhaust is sooooo strong that it makes my eyes water.

but with it dumped right now i get no exhaust smell, but inside the car it is soooooooooo fuggin loud

idk about cats but i think i saw you TORCHD at strats this past weeknd an i gotta say ur car sounded amazing when you left! If that was you I say keep what you got!

Yea i definetly say u keep it...i was eating inside an when you went by i knew i recognized the car!....keep your setup it sounds mean!

the smell kills me though..

I did not see any trans ams at all only me.. wait i forgot there was a pewter one i saw and a formy..

my set up will stay, jsut want to add cats to get the smell down

Great Link. One question. If the best cat flows 600 CFM, our cars have 2 cats, so I guess they can support up to 1200 CFM. Is that correct? I'm guessing if you had an engine that sucked in 1201 CFM of air thru intake, you would be restricted on the exhaust, or is 1200 CFM on intake different than 1200 CFM on exhaust?

I'm told the best cats available in any system are the ones supplied by ARH. According to their ads they are 200 cell metallic while others like Magnaflow are 300 and 400 cell. More cells = less flow. They also say their cats have proven themselves virtually indestructable.

installUniversity.com has a tech article on this and according to their results the best flowing cats were FLP cats
