Idle problems FAST 90/90
OK, so i just put the fast 90/90 on my car when I had previously had the ls1 intake manifold and 78mm throttle body. I have a cam/trickflow heads and full bolt ons..it ran great before the new intake, but now it starts but struggles to idle and have to hold the gas down to keep it alive. Do u guys think it may just be a tune or something more? any help greatly appreciated

Try to adjust the idle screw to open the blade a little more. Then do a relearn for the tps sensor. And yes you do need a tune, my car ran pretty crappy till I got it retuned after adding the fast 90/90.

How do i do a relearn for the tps sensor? I tried adjusting the idle on the throttle body but it didnt seem to help so much..
I really wish i could at least get it to run so i dont have to tow it to get tuned.
Im hoping its just in shock of the upgraded intake and throttle body from the ls1 manifold.

to reset the tps sensor all you have to do is unplug it,put the key in the on position(but dont start the car)for 15 seconds.Turn the key back off and plug the tps back in and its reset.Keep opening the idle set screw and reseting the tps until you get it to idle better..This is only a temporary fix as it will have to be retuned for the 90/90 setup. There is really no way around tuning it..I just put a 90/90 setup on my car and it was not easy to get the idle figured out but i did and it idles and drives like stock now,no surging or idle dips anymore.

The only FAST TB I've seen, had no hole in the blade. Seems
to me like you would not go far wrong, drilling one the same
size as stock in it (being as you've got stock tune with stock
IAC effective area vs counts type expectations).

Thanks for all the help im gonna try resetting the sensor tomorrow since in live in apts. and dont wanna wake everyone. Im pretty sure everything is connected right unless i accidentally banged up one of the injectors and messed one up pulling it off the old intake. I smell alot of gas when it starts hopefully i can take it to my tuner monday. Thanks again guys
