Default electric cut out do any good

Would a electric cut out do any good when I already have a SLP 2 Loudmouth exhaust (straight threw reasonator instead of a traditional muffler). I would put the cutout before the resaonator if done.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I have one on my truck and I didn't think there would be much different in sound, but it is 5 times louder that through my ultraflow muffler.

It will make a little more power if placed after the Y pipe. It will also be much louder when fully opened. Check out the QTP cutouts we sell. They are in the exhaust section of our catalog.

Yeah i was like a little kid in the candy store when i first heard it start up with open cut-outs. Do it. Definitely a sound difference but as far as hp or "et" i don't know man. It's hard to say. Back pressure is good in a sense. We'll have to wait for someone with more knowledge on this to chime in.

yeah, I thought my magnaflow was a bit too quiet but I didnt want duals because they are loud and the police dont like that around here and I just have bolt ons so I wouldnt gain much from them right now. I was going to get an e-cutout so I could play with that and just decided, I would just get the stainless cutout with no electric opener and if it was too loud, I would buy it. First start up, I knew that the cap would never go back on.

If your already running a loudmouth, your not gonna notice much of a difference in sound and almost mo change in power. That system is already prety loud.

Thats what I thought Re. The system is loud but could be louder though, but if the change is minumial and no real power increase I won't do it.

Your kidding right i know loudmouth is loud, but nothing is louder than an open cutout other than open headers. Hell if you want loud just run open headers lol.
