C5 type muffler set up on WS-6?

I want to change to over the axel true duals and want to know if anyone has been able to fab a system with two mufflers in the current stock muffler location (making it similar to a vette set-up). Anyone, sponser or otherwise? Anyone think it will work???

that would be sweet. I don't know if there is enough room for 2 mufflers under there.

Thanks for the bump. I can't beleive no one has tried this...either that or I'm the only idiot who thinks it can work.

I have seen someone using them for a side exit setup. As he needed it to come in and go out the same side and needed a small muffler to do the job.

Okay. thats an idea. I was at the muffler shop today, designing the system. We'll see. If it comes out nice I show pics. It may be a week or two before I m doin researchin' and jump into it though.

Take a look at the SPEED INC. car on there web site it has that kind of exhaust.

The mufflers used by speed inc aren't C5 type. The C5 type have the inlet on the same end next to the outlet. Therefore you would have to bend and wrap the pipe (not straight through). You can see this type of muffler at speed inc in the corvette exhaust section. BUT, I would think you could install just like you would a C5 BUT flip the mufflers inward instead of outward so the tailpipes are not centerline exiting.
