Where are you that regular gas is cheaper than 2.80 a gallon? Cause here in Indy its 2.99 a gal for regular, 3.19 for 93 octane. And to OZ304 what are you talking about? E-85 burns MUCH cleaner than gasoline ever will. As well as to run E-85 in an F-bod I'm pretty sure you will max out the stock injectors duty cycle so you pretty much do need larger injectors, there's is a fellow that did a big write up on how to convert to E-85.
In CT, its ave around 2.80 for basic and 3.00 for 93. As for the feasibility, if gas was still around 1.25 for basic and maybe 1.40 for 93, then you wouldnt see the push for E-85. But since its not as low as it was 3-4 yrs ago, its now an cost effective option.
