Solid Motor Mount Issues
I'm installing Spohn Solid Motor Mounts on my '01 T/A M6. I've jacked the motor up as high as it could go. I've removed the Alternator, Alternator bracket, and still cannot get the **** in.I've even unbolted the passenger side motor mount to get the motor as high as it can go. I've loosened the 6 bolts on the K member, and I'm about to unbolt the shocks from the towers to lower the whole K member down.
Seriously though, has ANY one had this much trouble getting in these mounts? I'm getting pissed!

Unbolt them BOTH from the k member side, even leaving the plate to motor bolts a bit loose.
Now, LOOSEN the Trans mount. Trust me. It will work. You're fighting the Trans mount and a whole other motor mount.
Do this, and report back tomorrow with your success.

Make sure the trans is straight in the tunnel before tightening everything up (if the trans mount is loose). I didn't keep an eye on it and had to go back and straighten it.

Dude, no. Stop. You'll NEVER get them in one side at a time.
