Default Full bolt ons for 2001 f-body

This is my first post about LS1 so I need help for my friends 2001 Camaro M6,he wants full bolt ons for his car but he want the perfect match and not losing torque/HP while modding, the Camaro got few mods right now but the owner wants more mods like FAST intake rough cam and the best bolt ons he can get but he dont know what to get the car already got :

LS6 intake
42lb injectors
Spec 3 racing clutch
SLP subframe connectors
Edelbrock panhard arm
Dyno Tuned by HPE performance
Skip shift eliminator
SLP intake
K&N air filter
SLP loudmouth
Hurst short throw shifter(already got B&M and might switch to it if its better bmm-45052)
drilled/slotted brake rotors
Hawk racing pads
18" Z06 wheels
295/35ZR18 G force T/A KD rear
265/35ZR18 continental sport front

the mods were already on the car from the previous owner and now we need help to get the perfect match bolt ons+cam and intake

how much power are you looking for? do you want it to be a track only car, or a quick DD?

mid to low 12's should be really easy with a bolt on only car. next on the list would be long tube headers and a y-pipe to match, if not true duals. if you want the best, go for kooks, american racing, or qtp. then you could port your stock throttle body. you should meet your goal with that. now as far as a cam, heads, intake, etc. theres some really good people on this site that could help you match them all to get the most out of them. you'd probably have more luck posting cam/head questions in the "internal engine" section though.

What is his budget? He needs longtubes/ory and underdrive pulley to finish off the bolt-on list. That and a good set of tires will get him mid-high 12s. Throw a nice little cam (23x/23x) into the mix and he will see low 12s or even 11s depending on the driver, a FAST intake wont be necessary for just 12s.

hooker headers are good, but they're not stainless steel so they'll rust over time. i'm about to order a set of XS stainless steel headers. they're about $425 which is the lowest price you'll find on stainless headers and you'll never have to replace them. and as far as the BBK throttle body, at this point, there's a lot of other things that you could spend the money on that you would get more out of. just port the stock throttle body and not worry about an aftermarket one until you get a new intake manifold and then get a TB to match it.

Hooker headers are great. The throttle body he has should be fine, maybe port it but with the LS6 manifold the throttle body is perfect. Yes the 241 heads are stock.

ok how about this set up

80mm BBK
Hooker headers LT+y pipe
underdrive pulley
NGK TR55 plugs
MSD wires
rough cam something like 23×/23× with springs
3.73 or 4.10 dont know which one better for M6 and 18s
LCA
HP tune

is it good? the reason he cant get the Kooks or QTP because they are very expensive to get them to our country

That should be perfect for your goals...... just remember some good drag radials and ALOT of pratice at the track. My car went 12.6@110 with a lid, LT, ORY and GMMG catback on street tires w/ 1.93 60'. So those mods with a good tune, set of good tires, and a decent driver should be beyond your low 12 second ambitions. HAVE FUN!

i dont drag yet, just going by "seat of the pants feel" i could really feel the difference in throttle response.

what about the Cam?
You keep saying you want a rough cam so I would suggest the Texas speed Magic stick 4, a.k.a- MS4 Its specs are 239/242 duration, with .649"/.609" lift.

It's a good inexpensive, yet proven cam. Capable of mid 11's give or take depending on the driver and tires.

texas speed sells cam kits that come with about everything you'd need. you'll also want an ls2 timing chain and a better oil pump, which you can also get at texas speed. and do know that when you start getting into 11's and run drag radials, your going to need a new rear-end. the factory 10-bolt is the weakest link of the car.
