the notorious boomtube!!!!

hey guys i got my longtubes on and it just isnt enough. i think im goin to go with a boomtube setup. i did a search buti cant seem to find more info other than the scavenging affect and alot of other stuff i dont understand

! i just want to know where i can purchase a set and ive heard they can get outrageously loud with a cam. is this true? any info about purchasing the tubes and other advice would be great. thanks alot

dr. gas sells them. but you'll have to fab up the dual exhaust for them. iirc they are designed to work with an x-pipe.

Loud "muffler". Nata SS Inc has some vids on the site, unbelievably loud. Heard a hotcam'd LT1 at the track a few years back with one. Sounded unreal. Little loud for my tastes, but still sounded IMO good.

Not all are designed to work on a X pipe. If you check out the dr. gas website they have all sorts of setups.

hey everyone thanks for all of the input. do u think i could get the same tone but decrease the sound level at all. i think they sound badass but a little too loud for the neighbors. thanks again

anything is possible with sound . you got the money someone has always got the time my freind . might be able to do a cutout style with the electric valve .
i saw one in the for sale section a while back and these babies are loud . also seen a black camaro in gmhighperformance that dude had fabed up a chrome plate to preserve his vody work due to the temperature .
