it isnt doing a whole lot of good thoug. an engine is only gonna take in the air it needs, those intakes arent really forcing anything into it

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/841911-another-diy-ram-air.html

I just did this a few days ago, its a little extreme and requires cutting out all the metal under the air box and removing ac condensor, bumper supports, coolant reservior, hood latch lol

No it doesnt

The ac condensor and hood latch do not need to be removed. But yes, the front bumper support, windshield washer reservoir, and some metal does need to be cut. So its not the best idea for a daily driver unless you leave plenty of space between yourself and the car in front of you at all times

holy ****, missed the 6" part. you have 2 6" hoses?? you got enough airflow?

Did you have any of the front crossmember left, or did removing the condensor allow you to keep some of it?

LOL...yep those two 6" hoses pretty much fill up the air box. I woul have like to have done 7 " but the bumper holes are only 6" anyway.

Yes there is some of the crossmember left. I cut the whole out equal to the filter box hole, so that leaves like an inch left of the crossmember, basically just the vertical front portion left. Its still extremely sturdy.
