I installed my mounts with Grot LTs on the car and they weren't in the way at all. I am not sure about other brand LT's though. I wish I had known it was going to be a quick install, I would have taken pictures and written up a how-to. They were really easy to do, I did do it on a lft and with air tools but it still wasn't a bad install. I have done plenty of installs on the ground before, these mounts just didn't give me any problem.

The only real way to fix it is with poly mounts but they way I got rid of my banging is by setting our lift on the pipe after heating it up just enough to make a little flat spot.

Bringing a 2 month old thread back to life.

Heat wrap seems to be the temporary solution for now since I am not looking forward to being underneath my car for another 10hrs
