Default running true duals w/ no X pipe or H pipe

is it bad to run true duals with no x pipe or H pipe. i have shorty hookers right now w/ 2.5 pipe true duals w/ the slp loud mouth 2 bullet mufflers at the end of each one. i like how it sounds but i hear that its bad for the engine to run it with out an H pipe or a X pipe

Doesn't hurt anything. H helps sound, x helps power, both are optional

Won't hurt a thing. Nearly every car with dual exhaust back in the day ran straight duals. I don't run one on my daily driver & love the way it sounds.

I just got the duals put on my car with no crossover pipe. Still love the sound.

I'd run the X and ditch those shortys. They're holding you back. The X pipe will help w/ scavenging.

i cant run LT's, shortys are the only headers that will fit in my jeep. today i did the exhaust w/ the x pipe then right after the x pipe i have the 2 slp mufflers.

is the x pipe even doing anything if its a foot from where the exhaust exits?

It's still going to serve the same purpose, although I would think less efficiently
