Default Anyone ever done this (or know of it being done) before?

I was thinking of running my exhaust back from the headers and cats, either as true duals or through the y-pipe, and dumping them out the sides in front of the rear tires, one on each side of the car. Is there enough clearance and a pathway to route the exhaust this way under our cars? Anyone ever tried this before or know someone who has?

Theres probably room....but it would be loud as hell probably. A lot of interior noise.

Ive seen a picture or two on here where someone had tried that. I think it was a black WS6 with square chrome tips. Im sure you have probably searched the topic but that might help you narrow it down.

Yeah, I figured it would be loud. I have a dump in front of the muffler now just under the passenger seat, pointed outward toward the passenger side that I always leave open. I wouldn't think it would be much louder than that.

Thanks for the tip about seeing a car with that setup. I tried searching for it, maybe I just have to keep looking. Knowing it's out there is a huge help though!

it can be done but unless you modify the skirts / sides of the car you will have ZERO clearance

Sik02SS had this setup on his car for a while... he ended up going out the back. Maybe he'll chime in.
