I've heard borla xr1's in person and I wasn't impressed. I'm currently getting a true dual setup w/ one chambers fabbed up. From what I've heard the one chambers have the borlas beat.

For pure loudness single chamber straight-thru is what I had. It was almost like putting nothing on before the turn-downs. XR1-s will give a more pronounced and throaty, deep tone and sound a lot better IMO.

Not much difference IMO ... mine were dumped before the axle ... too much noise, vibration, and couldn't keep my front runner lights from blowing ... had to replace them about every 1-2 months. They tucked up nicely but a lot of vibration inside the car.

Seemed to make a little more power than the catback and weren't quite as heavy. I liked them, but, it got old after awhile and I went back to the catback ... couldn't hear my passenger talk without them yelling. Of course, that's not always a bad thing ... LOL!

Definitely single chambers IMO, but the X-pipe destroys the "Flowmaster sound" when you get on it hard. H-pipes sound a lot better to me.
