I disagree. It is often too much with an ORY, but the cats tame it down some. Listen here (ARH longtubs, catted Y, GMMG):

I would have said no, but since you gave all the important info like it's color and that it's an ss I'm gonna have to say yes now

I would say go for it. I bit the bullet and got the cme tips.
Its expensive but its the best y pipe setup for sound and appearance imo.

AR headers>3" catted y>gmmg>cme

I have AR LT's with their cats, going into GMMG and I love it!!! It's tame under nomal driving, until you get on it and it gets nasty. Probly one of if not the best sounding exhaust I've ever herd. That video doesn't do it justice. It sounds awesome there, but in person it's amazing

It has alittle rasp if your lugging the engine, but you can get around that easily

thank you all very much!! that camaro sounds bad *** on the video. it is a bit costly though. i might go with the loudmouth slp to save some money. i need to pay my car off before i mod anything. it will be the sickest looking som ss after i get done with it. pics and videos will be posted eventualy.

I just installed my ARH LT's, ORY, and GMMG catback and it is really raspy. I am going to try adding a 30" chambered muffler in the i-pipe and see what that sounds like. If I am still unhappy, I will probably just get a catted y-pipe.

best sound for the camaro imo. make sure your still using your cats tho or else you will have a lot of rasp.
