My magnamouth sound clips
I have magnamouth SLP LM with 3" Magnaflow bullet muffler. If you have LT headers and off road y-pipe SLP LM are supper raspy. Thats why i put a magnaflow bullet on it in place of the resonator. I have ran this for 2 year and get alot of complements on it and it sound super mean when i want it too

sounds great DansRedz28, I have the same setup as you just I am running the Polished Stainless Steel Headers and off road Y-pipe from black2002ws6. This really is a great sounding exhaust. It sounds completely different when I switched over to the magnamouth from the SLP resonator. So much better! This is a great setup for someone who ones a decently tame exhaust while driving normal but when you step on it its LOUD

I cut at the back og the SLP Resonator and too it off all the way to the y-pipe. i put/clamped the Magnaflow bullet muffler to the Y-pipe and added the pipe to the back of the magnaflow bullet muffler to the I-pipe. I picked up 2" more of ground clearance that way i have never Scraped anything

Ohh i picked up a used SLP LM for $100 hit it with some steel wool & Simple green extreme and it looked like a new catback Then i got the muffler for free so not bad for a $100 catback! I cut the tips off and it added more of a true dual sound thumping under the car. Im about to have them raise up the pipe behind the rear end and turn them down right at the bottom of the bumper so you cant see anything and it wont be blowing all over my back bumper LOL I aslo painted everthing black now you cant see anything

Sweet! have you had it dynoed with cutout close vs open? with that free flowing catback i would bet you would lose some low end torq and HP Believe it or not. It has also been proven on the dyno if you have one cut out on the i-pipe at the rear end you make more hp and trq then running 2 cutouts at the headers. Just some thoughts but im sure it sound bad *** with them open

yes it dose! You go from a straight pipe to a muffler When you cut off your resonator you will see that it is just a open pipe. So basicly your running straight exhaust

Sweet!
The text says you have a 3" Magnaflow. Is that 3" inlet/outlet and 4" overall diameter?
Would you happen to remember the Magnaflow PN?
I'm guessing it is the 14419 muffler.
I just want to get the right one.
Thanks!
