Default ARP bolts with Fast 90??

Heard that the stock Fast bolts will look rusty over time so looking for an alternative to purchase prior to the intake going on. Was leaning towards ARP intake bolts, but checked Thunder Racing's site and the intake bolts they show specifically say they won't work with the Fast intake. Curious if there is an ARP intake bolt set that will work with a Fast. If not, what would yall recommend?

I don't know why the ARP wouldn't work. The FAST bolts are 111mm UHL and the ARP's are 114mm UHL. I haven't installed them yet, but I have a set that I'll be installing with my mamofied FAST 90.

you could always paint the heads before you install them

I'm telling you guys search nuts and bolts on google. I got stainless 110mm with an allen head for like $2 each. The little short ones were about $.50.

There is no need for ARP bolts for a fast intake.Strength is not an issue when torquing to 18 inch pounds. You need bolts with little or no head on them too clear intake,Allen head or pan head, something that is short.

I got the ARP bolts on my 78 MM FAST, they work fine and are really just for show but I do like that fact I was able to accurately torque them down without having to buy an allen head socket (for the FAST provided bolts). I just went to Sears hardware and bought the rest of the stainless bolts for the front and back of the intake and the throttle body.

FYI my FAST bolts rusted after about 4 months and my car isn't daily driven.

Why doesn't everyone reuse the stock bolts instead of the FAST bolts if they rust?

For strength, I agree there is no need. I purchased the stainless 12-point bolts for pure looks. I can't stand rusty bolts and I'm a sucker for the looks of the ARP polished stainless hardware.
